On Point #1
For some reason this one didn't go out on the blog correctly yesterday so I am re-sending it. This one was taken in the shade. It is a 16x20 oil on a linen panel. Such a nice surface to work on. One of these paintings is to be given to a dog handler for a prize for winning at a field trial so it is NFS.

Colorado Stream 9x12
I decided to do this one again. The other one is 8x12 and this one is 9x12, which I had a frame for. I now have a frame for the other one also. I liked the effect I got , I don't know which one I like the best, although the other one scanned the best I think. It is a 9x12 oil on a Raymar panel. I love that linen surface! This painting brings back memories of my trip last summer that was so great. It is framed in a driftwood frame with a linen liner with a gold lip. It is $300.00 including S&H.

Red & PInk Roses #1
Red & Pink Roses
This is a 16x20 oil that I did a few years ago when I was painting for a company that made prints from my paintings. It has a mate that I will blog tomorrow or whenever. It has been licensed on open edition prints and also hat boxes. Cato's sold the hat boxes a couple of years ago and the prints are somewhere out there in the marketplace.

Bandstand from the Hill 24x36
I did this one larger than the previous one. This is a 24x36 oil and was painted from the photos that I took this spring in our lovely park. Some day I will have to paint it with the people playing in the band. We still have band concerts three times a week in the summer. I think I like the small one better. It was fun to paint though. Right now, it is NFS.

Bandstand from the Hill
I have painted this scene from almost every angle. This is a 16x20 oil of our local park with the bandstand and the springs. People used to come to the springs for healing waters. I am working on a 24x36 like this one. Then I had better look for another subject. Or maybe another season. How would that be? Our Picnic celebration is in July and I am just probably excited to see old friends so am feeling nostalgic. Maybe that is why I am doing so many of these scenes. It is fun though. Maybe I will wait for fall before doing some more.
Bandstand in ElDo 2008
I have really been in the "bandstand mood". I am trying to perfect the scene so I can hang the painting in the local bank. Of course I have to eliminate a few trees, monuments etc. so it is not exact. Our summer concerts are so wonderful for a town this size and I am hoping everyone enjoys this scene. This is the time of year that organizations ask me for a donated painting for their raffle to make money. I don't know how many of these paintings I have done. Many!! It is a 24x36 oil and is not for sale. I am doing two more which I will post when finished.

Santa Fe Garden #II
This is an 11x14 oil, painted on stretched canvas. I painted it from a photograph that I took when I visited Santa Fe four years ago. I think maybe this was on Canyon Road, although I am not sure. I took so many photos and I always think I can remember just where it was taken, but I guess I don't. This painting not framed at the present and is $400.00 including S&H

The Orange Tree
Purple and White Iris
This is a watercolor and gouache and some liquid acrylic on rice paper so I call it a mixed media. It is matted out to about an 18x24 or so. It has a natural colored matt with gold liner and is ready to frame. It would need to be under glass. These paintings on rice paper are really fun as you don't quite know where the paint is going and since I am a really controlling painter, it is sort of hard for me to keep it in control. I love doing them. It is $200.00 uncluding S&H.

Colorado near Pueblo
This is one of the first pretty scenes that I photographed as we got into the pretty part of Colorado on our trip last summer. So many pretty sights to see in Colorado. This is a small 6x8 oil on a Raymar panel with the edges painted so would sit on a little easel without a frame or I now have a silvery gold 3" frame that it really looks good in. It would be $150.00 without frame and $200.000 with frame, including S&H.
