For some reason this one didn't go out on the blog correctly yesterday so I am re-sending it. This one was taken in the shade. It is a 16x20 oil on a linen panel. Such a nice surface to work on. One of these paintings is to be given to a dog handler for a prize for winning at a field trial so it is NFS. 
This one was taken in the sun. What a difference in photographs. A photographer, I am not. Just thought I would show you the difference that a photo can make. I like the shaded ones and my husband likes the ones in the sunshine. 
This is the same dog, different background, different pose, lighting etc. They brought me two photos to work from, now they have to choose which one they want. It is also a 16x20 oil on stretched canvas and is not for sale. +08.jpg)
